All funds raised at the event will be donated to Folds of Honor, a charity that provides scholarships and other assistance to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to our country.

If you’re interested in running longer distances, the 3rd Annual National Veterans Day Run in San Jose will feature a half marathon and a timed 11K run in addition to the two races being run in San Francisco. A large contingent from Nellis Air Force Base is expected at the San Jose event, which kicks off at 7 a.m.
