Last Chance: Final Jordan Winery Estate Tours of the Season This Weekend

Nov. 8 - 11 mark the final Jordan Vineyard and Winery property tours of the season. They'll resume in April.

This summer marked the first time Jordan Vineyard and Winery allowed visitors to tour its entire Healdsburg property, and the final tours of the season will be held this weekend.

Jordan Vineyard and Winery, 1474 Alexander Valley Road, has nearly 1,200 acres of grapes and natural habitat, and added a new estate tour in June.

"Jordan Estate is one of the few properties in Northern California wine country with more than 1,000 acres of contiguous land that is navigable by vehicle, owned by a private individual and available to be explored by consumers," the winery says on its website. "More than three-quarters of the estate is dedicated to natural habitat— an oasis where craggy oak trees surround the vineyards, herons and geese swim the lakes, and rabbits and deer roam the rolling hills that define Sonoma County’s southern Alexander Valley."

In all, Jordan has 110 acres of grapevines, 18 acres of olive trees and other features.

Tours of the property last three hours and include wine and food pairings for $120 per person.

“After having spent countless weekends fishing and driving around the Jordan property, I wanted to share the beauty of Sonoma with an experience that is truly singular in California,” the Jordan website quotes second-generation vintner John Jordan as saying.

After this weekend, estate tours will resume in April. Reservations can be made at http://jordanwinery.com/visit. More information is available at 800-654-1213 or info@jordanwinery.com.
