Wine Dogs and Hot Dogs: Can't-Miss Weekend Events in Healdsburg

It's shaping up to be a busy weekend in Healdsburg. Here are just a few of the events going on around town this weekend.

1. Wine Goes to the Dogs - noon to 4 p.m. Saturday


Amista Vineyards will host its annual "Dog Days," a benefit for Canine Companions for Independence. Companion dogs will hold a demonstration, a raffle will be held, and dogs are welcome - canine portraits will be offered. Admission is $20; the vineyard is located at 3320 Dry Creek Road. 2. The 'Wurst' Music - 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday


Healdsburg eatery The Wurst (which specializes in unique sausages, burgers and more) will host live music from the Joe Valley Band Saturday night. The event is free, and the restaurant is located at 22 Matheson St.
