BALANCE. When it comes to smaller wineries, Amphora epitomizes the word <i>balance. </i>From the name to its causes, this winery really is a must to visit and sample. Owner-winemaker Rick Hutchinson, while crafting his talent for making Greek/Roman clay wine pots (known as amphorea), began producing his own wines in 1997. It was clear that the two passions balanced nicely together. Additionally, Amphora Winery has just celebrated its 6th Year of the Only Women Can Touch the Grapes<i> </i>fundraiser to "Stomp Out Breast Cancer!"
