CalFire's Healdsburg Forest Fire Station

<p>CalFire's Healdsburg Forest Fire Station handles wildland fire protection and control in Healdsburg and Cloverdale during fire season. The station, led by Healdsburg Battalion Chief Kim Thompson, houses two engine trucks and one bulldozer, the latter to clear wooded or forested areas. Healdsburg Battalion, together with the City of Healdsburg Fire Department and Geyserville Fire Protection District, is one of four in the western division of CalFire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa unit, based in Santa Rosa. After fire season, the firefighters are reassigned to other areas and units, such as Monte Rio.</p>
