El Farolito Mexican Restaurant

El Farolito is a friendly, cozy Mexican restaurant tucked away on a side street half a block from the plaza. The kitchen is in the front, the dining room and bar in the back and both rooms are decorated with mural art and Mexican artifacts (saddles, etc.). It's as close to a sit-down Mexican restaurant you can find in Healdsburg. Specialites include camarones borachos, a fajita platter and "molcajete"—grilled steak, chicken and shrimp in a special sauce that is mixed with a mortar and pestle.
