H2hotel is a 36-room inn that opened in July 2010. Boasting a sleek, eco-chic, modern ambiance as opposed to a traditional wine country, resort-type opulence, the hotel is a sister property to Healdsburg Hotel, just down the street. H2hotel, which has its own eatery and watering hole called Spoon Bar and a creekside lap pool, was designed by San Francisco architect David Baker. It loans out bicycles for guests to tour the vineyard-lined backroads surrounding the city; a secure parking area is available for people who bring their own bikes.
