Jim Wood was first elected to the City Council in 2006. He is a former member of the Healdsburg Planning Commission (2002-2006). Jim is a family practice dentist and has maintained a practice in Cloverdale since 1987.

In addition, he is a forensic dental consultant for Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino counties as well as the California Department of Justice. Jim and his wife Jane have lived in Healdsburg for over 20 years. They have a son, two dogs and a cat.

Carol Russell was first elected to Cloverdale City Council in 11/2006 and re-elected for the term 2010-2014. She was appointed by her fellow Councilmembers to serve as Vice-Mayor for 2009 and Mayor for 2010.

During 30+ years as a workforce development specialist and CEO/Co-Founder of a nationally-honored, two-time "INC. 500®" staffing services firm with offices along the 101 corridor, Carol helped thousands of top-flight employers meet their "mission critical" personnel goals and also served in leadership roles in a number of community and professional organizations. After retiring in 1998, and immediately prior to moving to Cloverdale, Carol was President of the Marin Chapter of the National Women's Political Caucus. Soon after relocating, wanting to get to know her new county and city, she served on the Sonoma County Library Foundation Board and the Sonoma County Commission On the Status of Women and began to volunteer in town. A founding member of Cloverdale's neighborhood network, Clo-Net, and its micro-business incubator off-shoot, CAFE, Carol's monthly column, "Cloverdale Comments", appears in The Sonoma County Gazette.

Carol's service spans a range of county, state and regional boards and non-profit organizations, plus City sub-committees.
