Rich Rupprecht, Neighbor

Hi, I'm Rich Rupprecht. I  was a sports reporter for the Press Democrat for 31 years. As a sports reporter, I covered major league baseball with the A's. I covered the Giants for 15 years, as well as Sonoma State Sports, Santa Rosa Junior College — pretty much all the high schools in Sonoma County.

I studied journalism at Santa Rosa Junior College and the University of Oregon.

In terms of career highlights, being a baseball fan and being able to cover Giants baseball and go to spring training every year, are definitely on the top of my list. I live in Santa Rosa with my wife, 11-year old daughter, Cindy the dog and Jack the cat.
