<b>Early Years -- </b>I was born in Chicago and grew up in central Wisconsin with 8 younger brothers and sisters.  I was an avid outdoor kid who loved playing all sports.

<b>Education --</b> I attended the U. of Wisconsin/Madison but was drafted and subsequently enlisted in the Army serving as a member of the NATO forces in Germany as an optician.  My schooling continued at Santa Rosa JC and Sonoma State Univ. where I earned a BS in Science &amp; Math and K-12 teaching credentials.  I later obtained a Masters in Ed. Admin. from St Mary’s College in Moraga.

<b>Caree</b>r -- I had a 34 year career that included teaching and school administration in Windsor and Healdsburg.  I am a former Supt/Prin. of the West Side USD and HHS Principal.  I also was a 15 year Adjunct Prof. at Santa Rosa JC in Computer Science. 

I am involved extensively in the Healdsburg community as a member of the Healdsburg Parks &amp; Recreation Commission, Healdsburg Kiwanis Club, Healdsburg High Athletic Booster Club, Steve Hockert Memorial Foundation, HHS Key Club, HHS Science Alliance, Healdsburg Retired Teacher&#39;s Association, and the Recreation Park Grandstands Project Committee.  I continue to announce more than 100 local and Healdsburg High sporting events each year.

<b>Current Situation, Interests Etc</b>, -- I am currently Webmaster for Bundle Enterprises and Life Ins. Rep. for the Esquivel State Farm Ins. Agency.  I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife Claudia, our 3 children and their spouses, and our 4 grandchildren who all live in the area.
