Man Stabbed Friday at Vineyard Shopping Center in Healdsburg
Police are seeking witnesses to the 4 p.m. attack.
A 19-year-old man was found Friday bleeding from multiple stab wounds to his neck and back after a possible gang-related attack at the Vineyard Shopping Center, according to police.
The Healdsburg Police Department responded at 4 p.m. to a report of a bleeding subject near Summit Bank.
Witnesses reported that several Hispanic men drove up as the victim was walking in the center's parking lot, assaulted him and fled, police said.
The stabbing victim was treated at an area hospital and released, police said.
Investigators said they suspect the attack was possibly gang-related.
The shopping center was busy at the time of the incident, and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has information to call the department at (707) 431-3377.
